Ingredients:to serve four

For the topping:
6 oz / 175g gluten-free flour mix
3 oz / 75g butter or margarine
3 oz / 75g sugar

For the filling:
1½ lb / 700g peeled and sliced apples
or plums
or gooseberries
or blackcurrants


Instructions:



Mix all the dry ingredients for the topping together and then rubin the fat until a fine mixture or a soft dough is produced - this will dependon the type of margarine or butter that is used.



Place the fruit in the bottom of a medium sized pie dish and sprinklesugar on the fruit to taste. Most fruit do not need extra water.


Place the crumble mixture over the fruit in the pie dish.



Cooking:



Preheated oven


Gas mark 4 350°F 180°C


Bake for 30 to 40 minutes until the top is brown.
